Cowgirl Sunday Stamp'en Challenge - Flowers Galore using 3DP & 3 different flowers

This week at Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'en Challenge we are asking you to use
3 DPs and 3 different types of flower.
I decided to make a cupcake card this week as I have my CraftROBO back and I wanted to play.  I made the template myself and I really like the shape.  My image is from The Town Scrapper and the name is "Made with Love Lola" (hence the cupcake card) she is coloured with Copics and Promarkers.  My 3 DPs are from The Creative Cottage, who have a new store.  My 3 different flowers are punched from the papers, a rose I opened slightly and a charm.  The frame for Lola was cut with a large Nellie oval die.  All the edges were shaded with distessed inks.
Our winner's Sponsor this week is

Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'en Challenge - Hip to be Not-Square (or a Rectangle)

This week over on Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'en Challenge the challenge is to make any card as long as it's not a square or rectangle.
As you can see my card is a Teapot shape and the beautiful image is from CJ at Cowgirl Up Designs.  This is 1 of a series of Teacup Fairies.  Unfortunately, my mojo deserted me when I made this card and I know I haven't done this little lady justice.  I'm sat here now looking at her and I can see where I could have used some stickles and some glossy accents.  I cut the teapot on my Craft Robo using the little teapot on the image as my template.  The image was coloured with Copics and Promarkers.
I've gone back and added stickles, Anita's 3D gloss finish and liquid pearls and as usual I couldn't wait for them to dry so I ended up putting my hand in it (again). Here are 'before' and 'after' pictures. You may have to look closely but the after card is definitely more sparkly.

Cowgirl Sunday Stamp'en Challenge - Christmas Cards for Soldiers

Firstly an apology.  I have not been feeling too well lately and I haven't been able to get around to commenting on peoples blogs or posting on my own, so please accept my apologies and I hope normal commenting will resume as soon as possible.

I know this is a long post but please read it and join in this fun event, it is for a worthy cause.

This week over at Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'en Challenge we are having a Christmas Cards for Soldiers event.  We are asking people to make Christmas cards (as many as you like) and  post them to this address
CJ HOLIFIELD
15649 SH 148
BOWIE,TX 76230
USA
The only rule is NO GLITTER or SPARKLIES if this comes off on the soldiers clothes or skin it can be detected.

CJ will then get all of your cards off to the person that will be distributing the cards to the soldiers at war to fill out, sign and send home to their Families and Friends.

The soldiers at war do not have access to simple things that many of us take for granted like Christmas and Holiday Card's.

This is a campaign so please make and send as many cards as you would like to the address above.  All of your cards will then be sent out to be distributed to the soldiers.
We will collect cards for about 2 weeks, so please get them out to CJ.

This is such an incredible way for the card crafting community to get involved and make the world a better place.

This week we are having a 1st place and 2nd place along with a TOP 6.

Celebrating this campaign with us this week we have two fabulous sponsors.
Whimsy Stamps and Whiff Of Joy Stamps.
Whimsy Stamps will be giving 5 images of choice
and
Whiff of Joy Stamps who will giving 2 stamps of choice
and

1 image of choice from CJ at Cowgirl Up Designs along with the Winner Badge to display on your blog with pride.

We are also having a TOP 6 this week with 1 image of choice from CJ at Cowgirl Up Designs

Here is my card for this Challenge
I have used a Meljen Design from Whimsy Stamps.  This is a lovely image to work with and could be used for many different card both male and female.  I coloured it with Copic Markers and Promarker.  The snowflakes were cut from a MS border punch and the sketch is from Inspirational Card Sketches #82.

We are looking to collect as many hand made cards as possible so spread the word and ask your friends!  Copy this badge and make a post on your blog inviting crafters.

Post the Badge on your side bar.  Leave a comment on the challenge blog that you have done this.  We will be hopping around to check and someone will win a special award!!

Monarch of the Glen

This is my card for the following challenges.

Bee Crafty #37 - Anything Goes
Sentimental Sundays #18 - Clean and Simple + sentiment
Crafty Emma's Store #1 - Anything Goes
Cupcake Crafts Challenge #106 - Let's get digital
Bunny Zoe Crafts #3 - Vintage

Sorry for the rubbish picture, I took it late in the evening.
I have used one of CJ's (Cowgirl Up Designs) images called Deer.  I chose this image and the Welcome Home Dad image because I wanted to challenge myself colouringly (made up word because I couldn't think of another word to use).  I hope that you think I've made a half decent job of colouring them in because I do. (Hope you don't mind me blowing my own trumpet but I am really proud of these cards).  I coloured the image with Copics and Promarkers and the papers were from a Crafts House, Plum Pudding 6 x 6 paper pad.  The sentiment was a stamp by Mary Hughes I got from QVC many years ago, it came in a box of 40 stamps and I've only used about 4 out of it.  (Mental note - I really must get the stamps out to use as they are really nice).  Just a couple of reminders follow for upcoming Cowgirl events.

The challenge over on Cowgirl's Sunday Stamp'en Challenge this coming Sunday is sponsored by MICHELLE PERKETT.  The winner will receive 3 images of their choice from Michelle Perkett + the Winner's Badge and the Top 3 will each receive 1 image of their choice from CJ at Cowgirl Up Designs and the Top 3 Badge.

Don't forget you still have time to enter the BLOG HOP and challenge (you don't have to make a card to enter the blog hop or vice versa)

I will be giving you the details of our Christmas Cards for Soldiers event tomorrow.
